1997 - SITES Launches
In 2018, to keep pace with developments in digital pedagogy and digital writing, The Studio for Instructional Technology and English Studies (SITES) is reconfigured to become the Digital Literacy and Communications (DLC) Lab under the direction of Dr. Courtney Rivard. The DLC “serves as a hub for innovation in digital pedagogies by exploring strategies to teach digital writing through web development, social media, and games” (“About Us”). Its staff consists of ECL faculty members, graduate students, and undergraduate student interns.
