Got ordinary rooms + large S.R.
at Royal Clarence Old
fashioned house but good
dinner. No flat tire today
Fine weather. No rain yet.
Sept 27 Attended C.S. Church
28 present in their reading Room
Left from the church at 12 going
through Newton Abbot to Totnes
Beautiful rolling country +
extensive views. Good lunch
at the int old Seymour Hotel
on the river with garden
Then on to kings bridge + over
to Torcross where the road
ran along the beach for
several miles then over some
very steep hills through
quaint towns + with fine
coast views to Dartmouth
beautifully situated on both
sides of a deep narrow bay
Crossed here on a ferry + on
through Brixham to Torquay
One of the finest + most varied
