only glanced at. Ladies passports
not examined. Bought
tickets for Amsterdam +
rechecked bagage [sic] at office
with no examination of large
or small bagage. It was
them announced the train
would run to Dutch
frontier + we would have
to change. At Dutch front
we were told to stay on
train. Officers went through
looked at the passports + asked
if we had anything dutiable
Were then told train would
run through + large bagage
would not be examined
Had lunch + supper in
diner + Arrived in Amsterdam
at 830 PM Only
a dozen left trains here
Went to waiting room + showed
passports + asked why
we stopped + how long we
would stay. Then went
in bus to Hotel. Good
rooms on Armstel. One
