announced that they would
load money for jewelry.
I gave up our present 3
rooms costing 73 marks + took
2 double rooms on 4th floor
on Den Linden. They are nice
large rooms with a small
bath off the one N + Mother
use. Grants room + board
is 9 marks with 9 m for
coffee + eggs in the morning
18 m for dinner at 230 and
tea at 8m + 5m for extras
our present supply of money
will last 30 days + if I can
change into German money
230 dollars we can last
10 days more or 40 in all
It is reported an Amer. war
ship has started to Europe
with 5000000 gold to help
out Americans. Hope it is
true as it is the only
way to get us anything
Jep + I took long walk in
Tier garten. Beautiful
warm day. Had tea + toast
