refused to buy Amer. money
Saw an American there who had
today a cable from home so
lines must have opened again
Mother not feeling very well + did
no go out. N. better + took a
short walk. Had supper in
our room of mock butter soup
enough for 3 large cups for
3 1/2 cents cocoa, rolls, cheese,
sausage, at total cost of 30 cts.
and very good
Streets + people very orderly
tonight + no excitement.
The Continental times publishes
1 page twice a week with
embassy notices + what little
news is received here.
