We then took long walk
They serve a very good lunch
from 12 to 3 here of 4 courses
at 3 1/2 m each. We usually
eat on the terrace under an
awning overlooking a beautiful
garden. Temp today 77 + not
a cloud in the sky. No news
or excitement. If we knew
when we could get money +
get home we could enjoy it
very much here.
Mother N + I walked about
2 miles this PM to Gebruder
Moss' shop. Hear cables are
not yet open except by relay
through Holland
I showed to Drusdner Bank
on first visit my 2 letters +
they said what money they
could give me would be on
Brown Shipleys but could
give nothing on Citizens so
was much pleased at action
of Deutsche Bank
