Lunched at Habels Very nice
quiet place. Only a few 
Americans there + hardly any
one else. Good 6 course
meal for 2 1/2 marks. Took
walk in P.M. + listened to
the band at one of the
Tiergarten restaurants on
a 5 phenig [sic] seat outside
The ladies + I went to C.S.
meeting at 6.45 + listend to
a number of good testimonials
Attendance as large as on
Sunday. Tea in our rooms.
Later Dr. Haldy + a friend
called. Rumored on street
that Nancy had been taken
+ people much excited on the
Linden but quite orderly
Another special train for
Holland took large crowd
of Americans this afternoon
Aug 20 Another fine warm day
The young german Alfred Kramer
who helped Jack get the car
from Saltan called + told
us their experiences. I gave
