30.3A. Translate each of the following into English.
1. ɬáw̓ q caʔn kʷaʔ táčis q cə sƛ̓áyəqəm.
2. ʔíɬən q caʔ st kʷaʔ ʔə́mətəɬ.
3. hiyáʔ q cn kʷaʔ hiyáʔəxʷ q.
4. t̓íym q cə ʔən̓sčáʔčaʔ kʷaʔ ʔənʔáxʷ q hay.
5. hiyáʔ q caʔ st kʷaʔ ʔə́y̓əs q tiə skʷáči.
30.3B. Translate each sentence into nəxʷsƛ̓ay̓əmúcən: once using the kʷaʔ subordinate conditional construction, and again using the húʔ coordinate conditional construction. Each requires one or two hypothetical q’s.
1. I would go if you would go.
2. If the canoe would have arrived here, you’d go.
3. Would you sing if I sing?
4. We’d sleep if you folks would go to Sequim.
5. My mother would hold the money if we go.
