Francyne Huckabyb0a028670024a30dbf6459126ac0b17fe5ed9174Retired professor from Penn State University and co-founder of Creative Bridge Coalition, Dr. Dan Marshall researched Curriculum and Instruction, Education Policy and Educational Leadership up until his retirement in 2008. This former primary and secondary teacher taught in the United States as well as internationally and was a member and dean at the National College of Education (National-Louis University). He was an active member of many professional associations such as: Curriculum and Pedagogy Group, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the American Educational Research Association. His pursuits and interests personally and academic ranged from popular music to early childhood education. Marshall obtained the Outstanding Service Award from Penn State’s Presidential Commission on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender, and in 2008 the College of Education’s Outstanding Faculty Award. He received numerous degrees: an associate’s degree from Fullerton College, a bachelor’s in Education form Youngstown State University, a master’s form Indiana University and a Ph.D. form the University of Texas at Austin.
