Thanks for your patience during our recent outage at scalar.usc.edu. While Scalar content is loading normally now, saving is still slow, and Scalar's 'additional metadata' features have been disabled, which may interfere with features like timelines and maps that depend on metadata. This also means that saving a page or media item will remove its additional metadata. If this occurs, you can use the 'All versions' link at the bottom of the page to restore the earlier version. We are continuing to troubleshoot, and will provide further updates as needed. Note that this only affects Scalar projects at scalar.usc.edu, and not those hosted elsewhere.

Breault achieved a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at Georgia State University in 2000. She received a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Oglethorpe University, also in Georgia. She works an associate professor of Educational Leadership at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky. She is a prolific writer who has published dozens of articles in peer-reviewed publications. One clear mark of her stature in the field is the fact that she lists William Schubert as one of her references on her curriculum vitae. A Google searched revealed that she has two blogs: Curriculum of the Heart and Dissertation Advice, but she has not written in these blogs in recent years.
