Francyne Huckabyb0a028670024a30dbf6459126ac0b17fe5ed9174Marcella Kysilka is professor emerita in the College of Education at the University of Central Florida. She received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin in 1969. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Math and Psychology from Ohio State University and her master’s in Secondary Education from Kent State University. She has published more than 60 journal articles and eight books. She currently serves as editor of the Florida Educational Leadership journal. While at the University of Central Florida, Kysilka served as a full professor in the Educational Studies department, as associate dean of Academic Affairs, and as director of the Institute for Research and Program Development. She began her career as a junior high math teacher in a small town in Ohio.
