Ed.D., is a professor of education at the University of Alabama where he serves as the dean. He holds three degrees from Rutgers University: B.A. Rutgers University, 1981, Elementary Education, M.A. Rutgers University, 1983, Curriculum Theory and Development, and an Ed.D. Rutgers University, 1987, Curriculum Theory and Development. He began his career as a third grade teacher in Princeton, NJ. His research interests have been primarily focused upon curriculum studies and he has spent a great deal of energy on curriculum projects in European countries. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Curriculum Studies.
