Like you, we, Katie & Janekka were students in a Foundations of Education class. In this essay, we reflect on our experiences of this class, to offer you insights on what this experience can be. We believe pointing out the ways we came into the class is important. Who we are, how we are embodied, and what our experiences have been influenced our participation in the class and what we gained from being in it. Space, experiences, and ramifications are themes we use to illustrate the encompassing effect the class has on us.
