#49, support cinematic solidarity against Islamophobia

The Seventh Art Stand is a nation-wide series of film screenings and discussions. An act of cinematic solidarity against Islamophobia, the Stand will take place in May 2017, with over 30 locations in 18 states confirmed.
The goal of this initiative is “to elevate the cinemas and stories” of the people from the countries affected by the travel ban set by President Donald Trump: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen, reports Yoselin Acevedo in IndieWire.
