Highway Construction Protest

Residents of a 20-block "island" in Pacoima protest against sealing off one of the area's two access routes. Residents live in an area bounded by Branford Street on the north, the proposed route of the Golden State Freeway (U.S. Route 5) on the east, the Tujunga Wash channel on the south and Arleta Street on the west.
