Presentation Order
This was an order of Catholic nuns that was founded by Nano Nagle in Cork, Ireland in 1775. One of the order’s foremost missions was the education of young women. By 1880, the Presentation Sisters would expand from Dublin to America, specifically the Dakotas. There they would open and staff many schools in the region, as well as opening healthcare facilities. Over the years the Presentation Order has done charitable work in North America, South America, and Africa.
