The Art of Food in Frogtown and Rondo

Urban Farm and Garden Alliance Greens Cookoff

A series of community meals have been gathered between 2016 and 2017 as part of a project called the Art of Food in Frogtown and Rondo. This "Fresh, Local and Equitable project" was funded by the Kresge foundation to develop a food plan for creative placemaking through equitable fresh food systems.

The Greens Cookoff was the community meal convened by the Urban Farm and Garden Alliance, working on this project together with the Twin Cities Agricultural Land Trust, Frogtown Farm, the Asian Economic Development Association, and Public Art Saint Paul.

On December 3rd. 2016, Storymobile pedaled on over to St. Paul's Rondo neighborhood. Inside Pilgrim Church community members gathered together for a greens cook-off. Contestants cooked 13 different kinds of greens to be judged.
