This is a biography in which guest experts chime in about Edgar Allan Poe and how his literature was affected by his life.

There are two “Poe”’s in the biography.  There is a young boy looking confused at his mother’s death bed.  Then there’s the older Poe writing at his desk, reciting to an audience, and interacting with people.  The older Poe only speaks as a voiceover, reading lines from Poe’s letters and works. He is thin, pleasant, and has a melancholy tone to his speech.

There is a separate narrator.
