From the Wall a Whisper

Burke, Keal and Patrick. “From the Wall a Whisper”. Evermore. ed. James Robert Smith and Stephen Mark Rainey. Arkham House Pub, 2006. 102 - 110. Print.

Told in the point of view of a painter.  Poe wanders into the studio looking for Virginia.  It appears to be an account of Poe’s missing days.

Poe is mad, hearing voices, drinking.  He knows he is dying. He hears the dead coming for him.
