Two teenagers are having a Halloween party fund-raiser.  They bring Poe to the future to help them make things scary.  Introduces himself as “Edgar Allan Poe”.  He’s very pleasaent and not overly surprised at being told he is a time traveler.  He equates the boy as a student of Frankenstein.

Poe explains horror to them. Poe plays therapist to the boy about being alone and his father’s new girlfriend.  Poe is not scary, but instead pleasant and wise.  The scary part comes in when he speaks deliberately about fear.  He gives his life story in his “therapy” sessions with the boy.

He writes the Raven while in the future. A pretty good recitation of the Raven. Michael Sarrazin.
