Dipali Shah - Introduction
This subject interested me because Italy is one of the few European countries I have always enjoyed learning about due to its rich culture (and food :))! I am also connected to migration in a way because my parents and grandparents all migrated to the U.S. from India in the 1970s/1980s. Because of this migration in the generation older than me, I have grown up in a family that is very connected to its own culture, allowing me to be immersed both in the culture my family came from as well as the culture I have grown up around in California my entire life.
