My name is Sydney and I'm from Wisconsin. I'm a sophomore studying international business. I also have a minor in European studies and I thought this class would compliment those classes for the minor. Other than being from Wisconsin, I don't have a lot of personal experience with migration. However, my grandfather is from former Yugoslavia and came to Ellis Island after the end of World War II to avoid communism. I'm excited to learn about Italian culture because I don't know much about it!
