I decided to take this course because I am an immigrant myself, and I have also studied Italian before. Also, one of my closest friends has taken Professor Clo a couple of times before and he recommended her as a professor. I think this course topic would interest me very much, because I have always thought of Italian culture being very similar to Mexican. I hope I can find some similarities to my personal immigration and the immigration of Italians.
