TJ Griggs

My name is TJ Griggs and I am a third year Marketing Major with the honors minor as well as a minor in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Eventually I wish to work with marketing in the music or development industry, given my background and interest in music and architecture.

As mentioned in class, my largest interest in this topic is to understand how Italian migration affected development of Romance languages. Although I don’t study language, I find the similarities in languages (like the Romance languages, or the Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese languages) fascinating.

Since I have never moved besides coming to SDSU for college, my most interesting connection to migration is when my great great great grandfather moved to the United States from Austria to avoid fighting in a war.
