Davis dispenses with formal pictorial representation, applying her hand to Cubist art techniques with a fluid, emotionally charged piece appropriately entitled “Who AM I?” She depicts a faintly recognizable Alice falling down the rabbit hole while wrapped in flowers’ roots and surrounded by the caterpillar’s smoke. The green base colors reflect the forest surroundings while the bright yellows and pinks symbolize some of the negative aspects of her adventures.
