A blend of real-life and stop-motion animation, this short film reflects the director’s intent to tell a broader story beyond the written page. Whimsy takes on physical attributes as the pages embrace freedom, refusing to stay bound. The March Hare is depicted as a clumsy keeper of the story who fruitlessly scrambles to chase down the pages. When he loses a half-page at the end, the book is left with no definitive ending and is open to reinterpretation or the promise of limitless storylines.
