Currie spent three years photographing subjects in remarkable locations around the world. She describes her process as “bringing the camera out of the ordinary and into an uncharted place somewhere between Wonderland and the end of the rainbow.” The spirit of Carroll certainly infuses the surreal nature of her work, which is only enhanced by the exotic sites she visited. Some of the resulting images in her portfolio, like the one seen here, resonate closely with the people and places of Wonderland.
