Edgar Allan Poe : Portrayal in the Media: an Annotated Bibliography of Edgar Alla Poe as a character

In the Sunken Museum

Frost, Gregory. "In the Sunken Museum." Attack of the Jazz Giants. USA: Golden Gryphon Press, 2005. 200-218. Print.

Another story based on the missing time at the end of Poe’s life.

Poe awakens in a room with robed figures and a “Pit and the Pendelum”-esque scene.  He looks and sees himself the victim. It is suppose to be a museum in honor of his life.

Poe is acting delirious in the delirium that is assumed he was in near the end of his life.  The scenes he witnesses are only adding to the problem. He is physically ill, and frightened that he has already died and the museum is in reality a hell. Regardless of it, he puts up a fight.
