An Initial Confusion of Nationalities

I walk into an American store, located in Abu Dhabi, to look at a Russian inspired collection, and I am assisted by a salesperson from Syria. The collection’s Russian theme comes across loud and clear in both the décor and color scheme of the clothing in deep reds, whites, navy blues, and ornate patterns. The women’s clothes are largely devoid of graphic images, yet when I step over to the men’s side, the rack is capped with a graphic T-shirt with multiple images.
