Sources so far

My sources so far include:

The artist's website that has links to videos of his sculptures.

Sigmund Freud's essay on The "Uncanny" to aid in my analysis of interactions with the sculptures.

An essay on The Situationalists and another on Situationalist Space

Also, the book Theory of the dérive and other situationist writings on the city by Xavier Costa.

I have also requested, through Bobst Interlibrary Loan, scans of a short piece written by Harris in an issue of Juxtapoz.

Here are some media files (videos) that I may use in my final scalar essay:

That's not trash; it's art
Les nouvelles creatures de Joshua Allen Harris
Farmer's pet
Air ape
Runaway gargoyle in Paris
Air Bear, NYC urban art

I especially look forward to delving into the interactions between passersby and the sculptures
