An intense rain event during the first week, flooded the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico and institutions that still had leaking problems like the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao had to act quickly to protect their collections.
The Heritage Emergency National Task Force performed their first assessment and visits to institutions under threat and a guide with basic information on collection emergency preparedness and response was released.
