iNetHack2 is a game presented as an iOS app. Through a top-down, touchscreen interface, iNetHack2 sends the player on a quest to accumulate treasure, find the Amulet of Yendor, and ultimately escape. The fantasy maze-world of iNetHack2 allows for the collection of items in inventory and a wide selection of playable characters. This is a single-player, roguelike game.

The game, originally iNetHack, was authored by Dirk Zimmerman. It was adapted for modern devices by Jeff King and renamed iNetHack2. This game is an example of the importance of preserving classic video games through adaptation for more modern platforms.

iNethack2 is innovative because it is one of the earliest roguelike games. Levels and challenges are randomly generated by the video game programming, creating unique interactive worlds and diverse stories for the player.
