Context
This ashtray was purchased close to 1966 for the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center. It has a silver-colored metal clasping mechanisms to hold lit cigarettes. The entire neck to base region is hollow to catch used cigarettes and allow for easy emptying and cleaning. The cast maker's mark is included on this item.
