A Glimmer in the Void
The brilliant star plummets, broken and scarred.
Fearful voices cry out, “Will we succumb?”
Darkness looms, returning to a world marred.
Unnatural beasts creep from the shadows.
In anguish, the earth splits with furious quakes.
Storms rage with rain and hail like loosed arrows.
Trees fall, mallorn and oak, as the world shakes.
Yet do not give into fear and have peace.
For as the grey sheets curl back, there it lies.
Pearly sands and a green realm, oh such bliss.
Take solace as it nears, that swift sunrise.
A final war to win at any cost.
But stand fast, for all hope is not yet lost.
