In the video on the left, of the 1994 Edition of Victory Garden, a link labelled “Demo” is chosen from the North Garden section of "A Map of the Garden”––the trademark visual navigation tool custom made by the author. A sequence of lexias grouped under the label "Demo" is initiated by selecting the link. In the 2022 Edition, “Demo” and all nodes from the original map appear as Streams, a list of coherent thematic clusters that Moulthrop compares to chapters in a traditional book. Navigating the “Demo” sequence via the return key (default mode) in both the original and in the 2022 Edition produces the same sequence of lexias, unless a text link is chosen.
