Media Assets in Chapter 4: Restoration & Reconstruction: Final Thoughts
For the last decade Grigar and Pisarski have been working through their labs to reboot numerous work of born-digital media. This chapter focuses on the various restoration and reconstruction initiatives they have led through their labs and teams. Grigar's work takes place via the Electronic Literature Lab and the Senior Seminar course she teaches at Washington State University Vancouver. Pisarski's from his team in Poland. The works they discuss include Thomas M. Disch's Amnesia, Sarah Smith's King of Space, David Kolb's "Caged Texts," Stuart Moulthrop's Victory Garden, and Michael Joyce's afternoon, a story.
