Katie Jerome Bio

Katie Jerome is a Hamline University Undergraduate senior studying Religion and Social Justice with a focus in human's relationship with the environment and a Business Practice minor- including classes in nonprofit management. She is from Minneapolis, MN. She enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, doing volunteer work, gardening, hanging out with family and friends, doing social justice work, and cooking.

She has worked for many community gardens in the past- was an intern and on the leadership team for Midway Green Spirit Community Garden. She has spent the better of 4 her four years at Hamline leading alternative break trips through Students Today Leaders Forever. Here she had the opportunity to travel all over the country and help communities in need.  She is also interested in and working on racial justice work- attending protests, reading, attending events, and doing racial justice work in her everyday life. 

She is aspiring for a career working with young people in education/higher ed- making sure students have someone in their life watching out for and helping them achieve what they want to achieve.
