My Night Sky

The night is pleading to be with a friend
Escaping the clutch of a ringless man
No changes are in the sky,
‘cept the twilight and the stars that twinkle
Little is left for me.
The night weeps to become as the rays of the sun
The night is too dark for me,
But the day is just right
So I take my ladder from the moon and send it leaning towards the sky
The sky looks at me wondering what I have planned,
But I simply gaze upwards, with the dust on my hands and raise my head to the sky,
And with that, I have not even the smallest star left by my side.
