Miles Poem, Based off a scene from Into the Spiderverse
It’s up to me to save the day
Even though I’m a misfit
I can’t let my new friends at bay
The leap of faith.
Okay, Miles, deep breath in *I N H A L E * and out *E X H A L E*
I’m on the eighth floor
There’s no turning back, without a doubt
My feet start to sprint on their own
I can’t believe I’m doing this - I just want to close my eyes
I wish I wasn’t alone...
But, here I go, into the skies
It feels like time has suddenly stopped
It’s so cool up here, facing my hometown
And even though I was starting to drop down to the earth
I wasn’t scared! Instead, I spun around,
Let my web catch onto a building
And I let out a “W A H O O O !!!”
It’s up to me to save the day.
This is it.
