By 1955, Chrysler had thoroughly revamped their automotive lineup, in a makeover Exner promoted as the “Forward Look.” The new vehicles were an instant success. This 1958 Windsor included midsized tailfins, dual headlights, and Chrysler’s highly touted “Torsion-Aire” suspension. Chrysler marketed the vehicle as a luxury-style car at an affordable price.
