Weber, Carl Maria von (1786-1826)

Carl Maria von Weber (b Eutin, 18/19 Nov 1786; d London, 5 June 1826) Composer, conductor and pianist. Father of Max Maria von Weber. Weber first met Heinrich Baermann on his first visit to Munich in 1811 and the two remained intimate friends and colleagues until his death in 1826. There is some suggestion that Weber was Carl Baermann's godfather.
