Composer and conductor. Zenger served as 1868/69 Kapellmeister at the Stadttheater Regensburg from 1868–9, before returning to Munich to take up the post of königlicher Musikdirektor at the Hofbühne. He was subsequently Hofkapellmeister in Karlsruhe.
