Karl August Franz Sales Freiherr von Perfall (b Munich, 29 Jan 1824; d Munich, 15 Jan 1907). Conductor and director of various musical institutions in Munich, including Hofmusikintendant from 1864, Hoftheaterintendant from 1867 and Generalintendant from 1872. Perfall was also involved in the establishment of the königliche Musikschule in 1867.
