These topics run through Piranesi’s works, and the essays to be written for each will allow for sequential consultation of the images in Piranesi’s Views of Rome and, by the end of 2024, the first volume of his Antichità Romane. These essays will also, with their links to relevant images, enable users to jump across Piranesi’s volumes. As of summer 2023, two have been drafted (Perspective and Guidebook); as more are drafted, titles will be converted to all caps.
