Israel Folsom

Israel Folsom (Choctaw) was born in the Mississippi Choctaw band, in 1802, living until 1870. In 1822, he was a student at the Cornwall school in Connecticut. He also wrote accounts of Choctaw history and tradition, and served as a Choctaw representative to Washington, D.C.
