After living in a small, strongly-knit community in West Africa, they wanted the same for their new home in the U.S. They returned to Kathleen’s family roots in rural southwestern Minnesota, where Justin enjoys the prairie views from his woodshop window, and Kathleen is happy to return to the wide open spaces of her childhood. The Batalden family farm is a self-sufficient, sustainable, organic family farm that offers healthy cooking oil in the form of Omega Maiden camelina: a heart-healthy Omega-3 supplement.
