Encounter:conclusion

So, Dis-Armor alters human communication through turning the user into cyborg, creating mimetic communication experience and changing traditional understanding of presence and absence in regard to communication. It has a broader meaning and application than a specific issue of Japanese youth. It makes people conscious of the mechanism of face-to-face communication. Furthermore, it makes people aware of the situation that in modern day technology can change and even in some way replace this naturally human mechanism of communication. Finally, Dis-Armor project shows how technology can compensate for the loss of power and agency, which takes place in the modern world.
