Simulacra

Simulacra is the product of simulation, which is the representation of reality. It can be said that we live surrounded by simulacra due to the fact that the media industry is continuing to grow, and is the number one contributor to portraying simulation. Simulacra is thus anything ranging from museum exhibitions to movies that represent real life. Thus, the movie 'the Matrix' can be said to be an example of simulacra!
