The landing screen of the 1991 Edition, or 4th Edition, of Joyce's afternoon, a story differs from the 1990 in that its publication date states "1987/1991" and edition is listed as "Eastgate Press, 2nd Edition 1991." It was this publication date that alerted Grigar that this was a, heretofore, undocumented edition of the novel.
