On top of this arch there was a bridge that went from the Portico of Claudius to the Amphitheater, which is demonstrated by the lack of an architrave between the arch and the one above it, as well as other architectural elements that contained the bridge. The father constructed this illustrious building dedicated to his beloved son David. B. Avanzo delle Mura, e delle Torricelle del Campidoglio sotto la Scuderia del Palazzo Cafarelli E. Altre mure antichissime di peperino brugiate dal fuoco con avanzi delle volte de Corridoj quali veggonsi nell’orticello Savelli dietro le stalle del Palazzo sudetto F.
